This year the first prize was handed over to the student newspaper of our school the Tagore-Times.   Congratulations   According to the election of the European Parliament the topic of the year 2009 was “Berlin elects Europe!?”. The opening question of the article was “Are you Germany?”. It clearly describes how Europe more and more influences our everyday lives: starting with the package from France bought with Ebay, the Spanish tomatoes with EU-Eco label paid with Euro or the walk through the renatured Wuhletal provided by EU-funds. By summing up one can say “You are Germany? – Your are Europe!”
